Business Litigation Team Employs International Compact to Compel Depositions in India.
In an exceedingly rare decision, our Business Litigation team was able to call upon India’s Bombay High Court to compel production of documents and deposition testimony from Indian nationals. Persuading both the United States District Court of its authority to issue the necessary judicial process, and then, the Bombay High Court to issue and enforce the discovery requests, these international court orders dramatically changed the underlying business litigation matter and led to a favorable client outcome.
